Buhle Southern Mpofu

Buhle Mpofu is a lecturer with the department of Practical Theology and Mission studies within the faculty of Theology and Region at the University of Pretoria. Mpofu did his Post-Doctoral Fellowship with the University of KwaZulu-Natal, School of Religion, Classics and Philosophy and is also an ordained minister with the Uniting Presbyterian Church in Southern Africa (UPCSA) with a background in ecumenical involvement after he served as the General Secretary of the African Communion of Reformed Churches (ACRC). His academic focus has been on the interface of religion and migration within the context of mission studies where he continues to explore how these trajectories impact on social and economic transformation.
